Tools Factory Energyline Earns “Teraz Polska” Nomination

Tools Factory’s latest publicly available LinkedIn update points to a useful milestone for the Polish machine builder: its ENERGYLINE vacuum thermoforming series was nominated for the “Teraz Polska” promotional emblem in the 36th edition of the competition.

The nomination was announced on April 10, 2026, and is also confirmed by the competition organizer, which listed Tools Factory and ENERGYLINE in the Machines and Equipment category.

For thermoformers, the more interesting part is the technology behind the nomination.

Dynamic heating instead of a conventional full heater bank

ENERGYLINE uses a moving, or “wandering,” heating panel fitted with halogen heaters. The panel movement and heater output are controlled by the machine program, allowing heat to be distributed across the sheet without relying on a permanently active full heater bank.

Tools Factory says this setup can reduce heating-energy consumption by 40–50% compared with traditional quartz ovens. The company also reports average energy use of about 0.17 kWh per kilogram of material, with test results ranging from 0.13 to 0.25 kWh/kg depending on the application.

Those figures are manufacturer data rather than a universal benchmark. In production, actual consumption will still depend on material type and thickness, part geometry, cycle settings and the forming process itself. Even so, the approach is relevant because it tackles one of the most energy-intensive parts of sheet thermoforming directly: heating the material before forming.

Lower installed power can matter as much as the energy bill

Tools Factory lists heating power of roughly 22–52 kW for two ovens, depending on machine size. That is worth noting for plants where electrical capacity is already tight.

A machine that needs a smaller electrical connection can be easier to install in an existing production hall, especially when adding capacity without upgrading the site’s power infrastructure. In that sense, ENERGYLINE is not only about reducing consumption per cycle; it is also about reducing the peak power that the thermoforming cell asks from the factory.

Tools Factory has continued developing the same heating concept in its newer preheating work, where sheets are warmed in the feeder before entering the main heating station. The company has reported shorter main-heating times in its own ABS and HDPE trials. That suggests ENERGYLINE is becoming a broader heating platform rather than a single machine feature.

The “Teraz Polska” nomination does not change the basic job of the thermoformer, but it does put a spotlight on a practical engineering direction: getting more forming capacity from smarter heat management instead of simply adding more heater power.
